Responsibilities
- Design draft graphics and layouts for approved communications and campaign needs
- Adapt reusable visual assets across appropriate digital formats
- Organize source files, versions, review status, and usage notes
- Apply accessibility, readability, and brand-consistency checks
- Prepare design options and revisions for leadership or editorial review
Example projects
Depending on current GFC priorities, examples could include:
Creating a reusable graphic set for approved books-and-literacy content
Improving the readability and consistency of a campaign update layout
Organizing a small library of reviewed templates and source assets
Who this is for
A thoughtful visual communicator with solid design fundamentals, attention to accessibility, organized file practices, and willingness to work within review boundaries. Familiarity with common design tools is useful, but a specific credential is not required.
What you'll learn
- You’ll have opportunities to gain nonprofit design-production experience, strengthen accessible visual communication, and improve work through direct GFC review and feedback. Approved graphics or sanitized template systems may provide portfolio-ready examples.
