Who this is for

A curious, analytical contributor interested in marketing, audience research, nonprofit strategy, business, communications, or related fields. Strong research, organization, written communication, critical thinking, and willingness to test assumptions matter more than prior professional marketing experience. Coursework or experience in marketing, market research, business, analytics, communications, public relations, or nonprofit management may be helpful but is not required.

What you'll learn

  • You'll have opportunities to build practical experience in nonprofit marketing, audience research, positioning, campaign planning, channel strategy, message testing, and basic performance analysis.
  • You'll learn how to turn research and data into recommendations, how marketing choices connect to organizational goals, and how a nonprofit evaluates where to focus limited time and resources. You'll receive direct GFC review and feedback and may develop polished, portfolio-quality examples from approved Projects.

This is currently an unpaid volunteer / internship-style opportunity with Giving Foundation for Children Inc.
