Responsibilities
- Organize meeting notes, decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines
- Maintain approved internal documents, indexes, and reference materials
- Prepare agendas, summaries, and administrative materials for review
- Track routine follow-ups and flag incomplete information
- Support consistent naming, filing, and status practices across records
Example projects
Depending on current GFC priorities, examples could include:
Consolidating meeting decisions and open actions into an operating tracker
Organizing a Program’s administrative references and document index
Reviewing recurring administrative work for missing owners or deadlines
Who this is for
A dependable and organized student with careful written communication, attention to detail, discretion, and consistent follow-through. Comfort working across several kinds of administrative tasks matters more than prior nonprofit experience.
What you'll learn
- You’ll have opportunities to gain practical nonprofit administration experience, strengthen document and meeting management, and improve organizational follow-through through direct GFC review and feedback. Sanitized administrative systems may provide portfolio-ready examples.
