Fellow Opportunity
Nonprofit Strategy & Operations Fellow
Supports organizational strategy, operating systems, process improvement, and internal coordination.
The opportunity
Giving Foundation for Children Inc. (GFC) is a child-focused 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This Fellow may help strengthen the operating systems, organizational structure, and internal coordination that support GFC's long-term Programs and the Initiatives and Campaigns within them.
What you'll work on
- Document and improve internal processes, standard operating procedures, and checklists
- Help clarify organizational structure, responsibilities, and coordination across Programs and Initiatives
- Identify gaps, risks, duplicated effort, and opportunities for process improvement
- Maintain clear operating references and support consistent internal follow-through
Example projects
Depending on current GFC priorities, examples could include:
- Drafting or refining standard operating procedures and checklists for a Program area
- Mapping an internal process and recommending practical improvements
- Reviewing responsibilities or workflows to identify gaps, risks, or duplicated effort
What we're looking for
A dependable, relatively independent contributor who is comfortable with ambiguity and able to turn scattered information into practical, repeatable systems. Strong writing, judgment, organization, follow-through, and willingness to learn matter more than a specific credential.
What you'll learn
You'll have opportunities to gain experience with nonprofit operating systems, process improvement, organizational planning, and internal coordination across Programs, Initiatives, and Campaigns.
